Disaster Management Coordinator

Position Summary:  

The main objective of this position is to coordinate Council's disaster management framework, including the ongoing review of disaster management plans and compliance documents as well as the preparation and delivery of disaster mitigation and response strategies.

This role will also support the delivery of community education and awareness programs in accordance with agreed community education strategic plans and ensuring adequate information and resources are provided through the delivery of disaster management training.

Asset Management Officer

Position Summary:  

The Asset Management Officer has the primary responsibility to:
- Use Council's asset management applications to manage asset data;
- Assist with asset management activities, including the development of asset management plans;
- Assist with the inspection of Council's infrastructure assets;
- Capture, manipulate, analyse, manage, and present spatial data in Council's Geographic Information System (GIS);
- Provide specialist asset management advice, assistance and training to Council staff.
