  • Green Door Foundation

Green Door Foundation funds environmental and humanitarian/community projects through the annual Green Door Grant. The funding focus is announced at the end of March each year, with rounds closing on 24 September .

Green Door Foundation is also establishing a demonstration garden to showcase different methods of food growing; native habitat construction; sustainable building and renewable energy. As each section of the garden develops, community workshops will be offered. Watch the web for details.

  • Tamborine Mountain Botanic Gardens

TAMBORINE MOUNTAIN BOTANIC GARDENS have been developed and maintained by Volunteers of the Tamborine Mountain Garden Club since 1983 and with funding from, and an alliance with, Scenic Rim Regional Council.

The Gardens are set in 11 hectares of undulating land surrounded by natural Rainforest and are open to the Public 7 days during daylight hours.

There is an Information Board in The Pavilion and further information is available via www.tmbotanicgardens.org.au or Garden Club Secretary 07 5545 4358.

There are many Picnic Areas but to assist Volunteers it is requested that Visitors take their rubbish with them.  No areas may be reserved for Private Functions as the Gardens are small and for the enjoyment of all Visitors.

As is the case with all Botanic Gardens and National Parks, all Flora and Fauna are protected, nothing is to be moved or removed and DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

There are Public Toilets with Disabled facilities and sealed paths suitable for wheelchairs.
