Council's Nursery is located at 73-81 Birnam St, BEAUDESERT.
Council's Parks, Gardens and Cemeteries Section is an operational unit that delivers the horticultural, arboricultural, nursery and landscape services required to manage Council's parks, planted roadside landscaping, other Council property and free tree scheme.
Our aim is to provide attractive functional parks, shady tree lined streets and unique roadside landscaping for the pleasure and future of residents and visitors to the Scenic Rim Region.
We encourage all residents and visitors to enjoy the Scenic Rim's diverse and unique "great outdoors".
Property owners in the Scenic Rim are entitled to two free trees each year per assessment (up to a maximum of six trees for multiple property owners).
Trees can be collected on any Friday (excluding public holidays) from Council’s Birnam St Nursery in Beaudesert, between 9.30am and 3pm. A set amount of trees will also be available at the following distribution points (between 8am and 12noon). Trees will be handed out on a first in, first served basis.
