Scenic Rim Regional Council operates a number of waste transfer stations for the convenience and safety of residents and the environment. These stations are distributed across the region in populated areas to provide maximum convenience for residents.

Current opening hours for Waste Transfer Stations at Canungra, Beaudesert (Central), Rathdowney and Tamborine Mountain are: 7am to 5pm 7 days a week.

Current opening hours for Waste Transfer Stations at:

Boonah are: 8am to 5pm 7 days a week.
Kalbar are: 8am to 5pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
Peak Crossing are: 9am to 6pm (01 Oct - 31 Mar) & 9am to 5pm (01 Apr - 30 Sept) Saturday and Sunday

Current opening hours for Waste Transfer Stations at All sites are closed on Christmas Day and Good Friday.
