Scenic Rim Regional Council is developing a Mosquito Management Plan to combat the risk of vector-borne diseases within the area.

The plan will also look at addressing the potential spread of Dengue Fever to the region by including a dengue mosquito prevention and monitoring strategy.

Council is seeking public comment on areas relating to mosquito control and vector-borne diseases.

Scenic Rim Regional Council is currently undertaking a review of its food licensing system with the objective of adopting a more risk-based approach.

This new approach will first group businesses into a similar food category and then define the level of potential risk associated with that particular business type.

This may then determine applicable fees and inspection scheduling.

To aid this process, Council is currently seeking input from Scenic Rim businesses and individuals who hold food licenses.

Council is conducting an online survey to gather information from relevant stakeholders.

As a current licensee, we invite you complete this survey to assist us to create and implement this new system.

The survey is only 10 questions and will only take approximately 5-10 minutes.

You will be required to provide your current food licence number (found on your licence certificate) to complete the survey.
