Story Tree Challenge

To increase the awareness of the importance of language and literacy in early childhood, Scenic Rim Regional Libraries in conjunction with the Early Years Centre Beaudesert need your help to make a story tree.
You can help by popping down to your library and reading or sharing a story with your child. Then write the story you have shared on a leaf along with your library membership number on the back and add to the tree.
Our aim is to share one thousand stories in six months (through to Septembe 2016)!
Prizes to be given to a lucky 30 library members who have participated.

Library Familiarisation Session

All branches will be having 'Library familiarisation sessions' on  Saturday's at 10.00am.
This a short tour (10-15 mins) where staff will walk through the library, pointing out the different collections and providing  information about the services we provide. It is also an opportunity to ask questions and will probably have something new even for long-time members. These will be held at the same time every Saturday in each branch and so no bookings are required.
