Rural Living
Choosing to live in a rural area may mean choosing to live with the practices that go hand in hand with rural industry like calves bellowing during weaning times and the noise of tractors, pumps etc.
Council supports the rights of rural land owners to carry out reasonable and practicable agricultural uses on their land. Choosing to live on a rural residential allotment may mean swapping some of the modern conveniences of city living such as street lighting for extra space in a rural setting.
