Be Healthy and Active - Call for Expressions of Interest

Call out for expressions of interest to deliver the 2024 Be Healthy & Active Program

Be Healthy & Active is a holistic health and wellbeing program designed for the Scenic Rim community to enjoy a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Research shows that 63% of Scenic Rim adults are overweight or obese and 37% live with more than one chronic health condition. The good news is that Scenic Rim residents have indicated that they would like to do more to support their physical (89%) and mental health (73%).

The Be Healthy & Active program aims to improve health and wellbeing by offering low cost activities suitable for all ages and abilities.

The program provides a range of regular physical activity, well-being and social activities at public venues and parks to minimise barriers to participation. The Be Healthy & Active program demonstrates Scenic Rim Regional Council's commitment to fostering a healthy and active community.
