Scenic Rim Regional Council and novel coronavirus (COVID-19)
On Friday 8 May, Scenic Rim Local Disaster Management Group moved to LEAN-FORWARD status, in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
During this unprecedented time, the health, safety and wellbeing of employees, residents, ratepayers and our broader communities is of utmost importance. We urge you to protect yourselves by staying at home, using common sense, remaining calm and please cooperate with the advice of health authorities.
We will continue to monitor the advice being provided by the Chief Health Officers from the Australian and Queensland Governments and will take every precaution necessary to assist the region in dealing with the effects of COVID-19.
The Australian Government has released a COVIDSafe app, which speeds up contacting people exposed to coronavirus (COVID-19). This helps support and protect you, your friends and family. Please read the content on this page before downloading.
