Scenic Rim Regional Council is committed to progressing towards zero avoidable waste to landfill in line with the Queensland Government Waste Management and Resource Recovery Strategy.
Council is partnering with ASPIRE to assist businesses across the Scenic Rim region to recognise waste as a resource and realise the value of exchanging these resources.
ASPIRE is an online matchmaking tool using innovative software to assist with this process by bringing businesses together to exchange value.
ASPIRE offers many free resources to businesses to help save valuable costs in procurement, offering guidance to dispose of resources, saving costs and generating reports on your positive environmental impact.
Businesses with 100+ full time employees also get a 20% discount to join the marketplace, while businesses with under 100 FTE can join for free.
