Cr Nadia O'Carroll was first elected to Scenic Rim Regional Council in 2012 and was re-elected unopposed for a second term in March 2016.
She served as Deputy Mayor for a year from May 2017.
Nadia is a university qualified accountant with a Bachelor of Business degree (accounting major) from University of Technology Sydney and is a registered tax agent.
Her career includes employment with Price Waterhouse, University of Technology Sydney and Queensland University.
Nadia, husband Kerry and their three children moved to Tamborine Mountain in 1992.
Nadia has been a volunteer, member or office bearer in local organisations including Tamborine Mountain Natural History Association, Tamborine Mountain Rural Fire Brigade and Tamborine Mountain Show Society.
A qualified water monitor with SEQ Catchments and an accredited volunteer with Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, she is also Council's representative on the Queensland Climate Resilient Councils program and is a board member of the South East Queensland Catchments Members Association.
Encompasses the localities of Birnam, Boyland, Gleneagle, Tamborine, Tamborine Mountain (southern section) and Veresdale Scrub.
