Scheduled 2022 meeting dates
Council has adopted the following Ordinary Meeting dates for 2022, with Tuesday meetings commencing at 9.15am. A live-stream audio link is available when the Council meeting is in session. Council aims to provide an audio recording of the meeting by close of business the following day.

Notice of Special Meeting
Notice is hereby given that the Special Meeting, which commenced on 3 February 2022 and was adjourned, will resume on Thursday, 17 February 2022, at 10.00am. The Special Meeting will be held in the Council Chambers, 82 Brisbane Street, Beaudesert.
The purpose of this meeting is to consider:
1. Repealing Council's resolution under Item 6 from the Special Meeting held on Wednesday, 12 January 2022, being:
"That the Mayor prepare, with the assistance of officers as soon as reasonably practical, communication to the relevant Minister to seek guidance as per Section 150EV of the Local Government Act 2009 pertaining to the potential declarable conflicts of interest and to include discussions with Councillors prior to submission of that communication; and
That the meeting acknowledge that Cr Swanborough was not in the room during the majority of the closed session."
2. The matter referred to in Item 6.1 of the Agenda of the Special Meeting held on Wednesday, 12 January 2022:
"Repealing the Council's decision of 9 November 2021 in regards to Item 11.1 - Late Item-Re-appointment of Chief Executive Officer [Closed s.254J(3)(a and e)]"
Please note: In accordance with Section 277E of the Local Government Regulation 2012, this meeting will be closed to the public due to health and safety reasons associated with the public health emergency involving COVID-19. An audio recording will be broadcast on Council's website.

The purpose of this meeting is to consider:

Public attendance at Council meetings
Members of the public are permitted to attend Council Ordinary Meetings at the Chambers in the Beaudesert Administration Centre.
Those who wish to attend the meeting will be required to book in advance using this link. Bookings will open on the day that the Council Ordinary Meeting agenda is published. The maximum capacity of the public gallery at the Beaudesert Chambers is 12, and visitors will be required to wear face masks where they cannot maintain social distancing.
Visitors are requested to arrive at the reception of the Beaudesert Administration Centre no later than 9.00am on the date of the meeting, where they will need to sign in and present their ticket. Visitors will then be escorted to the Council Chambers and be permitted to remain in the Chambers during the open sessions. Visitors will be required to leave the building during the lunchtime break and whenever Council resolves to discuss matters in a closed session. A Council officer will accompany visitors at all times whilst on the premises and will provide the necessary assistance and guidance.
Protocols when in Council Chambers
Visitors to Council chambers are bound by Council's Standing Orders and must comply with the following rules:
- Visitors will only be permitted into the chambers if they have made a booking and signed in;
- No audio recordings or live streaming is permitted;
- No photographs or visual recordings are allowed to be taken;
- Visitors are to be suitably attired in recognition of the dignity of the chamber;
- Visitors must comply with all directions of the Chairperson;
- Visitors are not permitted to make comments or engage with meeting participants unless invited to do so by the Chairperson;
- Visitors, including persons invited to make comments, must act with decorum and be courteous and respectful; and
- The Chairperson has the absolute discretion to direct visitors to leave the meeting should they breach any standing orders.
Anyone who is not feeling well on the day is asked to stay at home. All Council Ordinary Meetings will continue to be live-streamed.
