Council works in partnership with emergency services and government agencies at a Local, State and Federal level to ensure the region is positioned to respond swiftly in the event of a disaster. During a significant event, Council will activate the Scenic Rim Local Disaster Coordination Centre to ensure a coordinated response to disasters or emergencies within the region.
