Vibrant and Active Towns and Villages

Council's Vibrant and Active Towns and Villages (VATV) initiative is a long-term program to revitalise towns of the Scenic Rim.

The VATV initiative aims to create an integrated region of outstanding towns and destinations focused on local culture and community life while supporting a sustainable and prosperous economy.

Tamborine Mountain Gallery Walk Precinct

Tamborine Mountain Gallery Walk Precinct is an important regional visitor destination located on Long Road on Tamborine Mountain.

Beaudesert Town Centre Revitalisation Project

The revitalisation of the Beaudesert town centre is underway to make infrastructure and streetscape improvements to the heart of the town, while creating welcoming public spaces.

Completed Revitalisation Projects

Council has completed a range of VATV projects across the Scenic Rim, including the recent launch of the revitalised Boonah town centre.

Town Centre Master Planning

Master plans for the Scenic Rim's major population centres of Boonah, Beaudesert and Tamborine Mountain to guide the future look and feel of these areas.
