Waste and Resource Recovery Facilities
Scenic Rim Regional Council operates seven Waste and Resource Recovery Facilities
Our facilities accept a range of materials for recycling and recovery along with bulky and hazardous items that can’t be safely disposed of through general waste bins. Please click on the map markers to see which materials each facility accepts.
Residents can dispose of resonable residential quantities of many wastes free of charge. For more information see fees and charges.
Vehicles weighing over 4.5 tonnes (GVM) must go to the Central (Bromelton) facility and be weighed upon entry.
Last entry for ALL waste facilities is 10 minutes before closing.
Waste facilities are closed on Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day.
