Environmental Grants Program Round 2012/13
Eligible recipients include community groups, schools and private property landowners who currently participate in a Council conservation program (e.g. Land for Wildlife and Voluntary Conservation Covenants).
Types of projects that may be eligible to receive funding include:
- Run-off (sediment) reduction and water quality improvement
- Enhancement of our beautiful natural environment
- Tree-planting and land restoration
- Bush regeneration
- Community and waterway clean-ups
- Community environmental awareness
Submitted applications will be assessed for their environmental outcomes for the region. Applicants are encouraged to read the Environmental Grants Guidelines to determine the range of suitable projects that may be funded. In crafting a project for consideration, applicants should contact Council’s Environmental Policy and Services team on 5540 5444 for assistance.

Every successful applicant will need to complete an Acquittal and Final Report, either when the project is finished, or at most, within 12 months of receiving the funds.
