Council's annual Environmental Grants provide for projects that encourage community involvement in the achievement of environmental sustainability, such as sediment reduction into waterways, riparian restoration, environmental awareness, tree planting, land restoration and bush regeneration.

Eligible applicants include community groups, not-for-profit organisations, schools and private property owners enrolled in Council's Habitat Protection Program. Projects that may be eligible for funding include land restoration, community environmental awareness, water quality improvement, and bush regeneration. Each application will be assessed based on its environmental benefits for the region.

Applicants are encouraged to read the Environmental Grants Guidelines to determine the range of suitable projects that may be funded. In crafting a project for consideration, applicants should contact Council's Environmental Policy and Services for assistance.

Applications close Friday 25 May, 2018.

Applicants who do not have an Australian Business Number (ABN) will also be required to complete a statement by supplier form. This form can be downloaded at the Australian Tax Office website.

Final Report

Successful applicants must complete a Final Report and Acquittal (below) either when the project is finished or within 12 months of receiving the funds, whichever comes first.
