Scenic Rim Small Business Month 2026

Scenic Rim Regional Council is dedicated to the development of local small business.

Small Business Month celebrates our region's small business operators, coordinating a series of networking events, interactive workshops and information sessions assisting small businesses in their development and growth.

All events are free, excluding the Business Breakfast which is a catered event and has a ticket price of $10 per person.

Celebrate the launch of Scenic Rim Small Business Month this May at the inaugural 2026 Small Business Breakfast. This key event brings together local operators and Scenic Rim Regional Council representatives for a morning of meaningful connection, conversation and opportunity.

Build valuable relationships, share ideas and be part of a thriving regional business community.

Hear from renowned rural entrepreneur and Queensland business leader Julia Spicer, as she shares insights from her time as Queensland’s Chief Entrepreneur and her passion for supporting rural and regional enterprise.

With a full program of workshops and events to follow throughout May, this breakfast sets the tone for a month dedicated to supporting and growing small business.
