To help recover valuable resources and improve your visit experience:
Organise and separate your waste and recovery items before arriving
Follow all site signage and staff directions
Be aware that some items require advance booking - visit A-Z of Special and Disposal Items
Vehicles over 4.5 tonnes GVM must use the Central (Bromelton) facility and be weighed on entry
Check fees and charges for items not accepted as general waste and note that if you are being paid to bring in items, they are classified as commercial.
10c container reimbursement is only available via Containers for Change - visit Recycle Mate and type 10c in the search.
Chemicals must be registered first with ChemClear and will not be accepted outside of designated collections times.
Last entry to all waste facilities is 10 minutes before closing.
All facilities are closed on Christmas Day, Good Friday and Anzac Day.
