Beaudesert Christmas Twilight Shopping Trail set to light up the CBD

As the summer twilight settles over Beaudesert on Monday 1 December, the town’s main streets will transform into a one-stop festive shopping destination.
Community, Arts and Culture Portfolio Councillor Kerri Cryer said the Beaudesert Christmas Twilight Shopping Trail will make it easy for residents to get their Christmas shopping sorted while supporting local businesses.
"Brisbane and William Streets will be buzzing with handmade crafts and Christmas treats from 5pm to 6.30pm,” Cr Cryer said.
“The Shopping Trail is a convenient and enjoyable way to tick off your Christmas list close to home - park once, stroll to the shops, browse and pick up unique gifts, while enjoying a festive atmosphere and catching up with friends and neighbours.”
Participating retailers and community groups include:
- QCWA Beaudesert, offering affordable handmade gifts, with proceeds going back into the community
- Beaudesert & District Community Arts Project (BADCAP)
- Red Cross Shop Beaudesert
- Delightful Flowers & Gifts
- The Centre Beaudesert, showcasing the Gift Wrapped 2025 exhibition with all items for sale
- Beaudesert Café
- Kalico Country
- Furniture Court & Beds R Us
- Pantry Vibes
- Buxtons Work Town ’n’ Country, and
Presented by Scenic Rim Regional Council and the Beaudesert Chamber of Commerce, the event is timed to coincide with Light-Up Beaudesert and the lighting of the town’s Christmas tree from 6.30pm, creating an evening of shopping and celebration.
“Everything you need for Christmas is right here in Beaudesert,” Cr Cryer said.
“Arrive after five to make the most of the twilight specials, stay for the tree-lighting from 6.30pm, and enjoy a relaxed, local start to the festive season.”
