Now in its third year, this much-loved exhibition has become a cornerstone of Council’s cultural program, offering artists and artisans from the Scenic Rim and neighbouring regions an important platform to showcase their skills, develop new audiences and earn income from their art.

Community, Arts and Culture portfolio Councillor Kerri Cryer said Gift Wrapped highlights the strength and diversity of the local arts community.

“This exhibition is a celebration of the talent we have in our region, including painters, potters, fibre artists, sculptors, and jewellers," Cr Cryer said.

"It’s an opportunity for them to show their work in a professional gallery setting, connect directly with visitors and be recognised for the incredible creativity that thrives here.

"Importantly, every piece is available for sale, so when people choose a handmade artwork as a Christmas gift, they’re directly supporting our creative community."

"Importantly, every piece is available for sale, so when people choose a handmade artwork as a Christmas gift, not only are they directly supporting our creative community - they are also giving a piece which is creatively unique."

Gift Wrapped 2025 will feature paintings, sculptures, pottery, jewellery, works on paper, textiles, archival reproductions and artisan-crafted small gifts from across the Scenic Rim, South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales.

The official launch will be held on Saturday 1 November at 2pm, when Cr Cryer will open the exhibition alongside many of the exhibiting artists, giving the community the chance to meet the makers and hear their stories.

Entry for the exhibition is free.
