Scenic Rim Swimming Pools

Community pools open

Scenic Rim community swimming pools will close on Thursday 1 April 2021 and re-open on Saturday 18 September in time for the school holidays. 

Useful information:

  • Queensland Government's Roadmap to Easing Restrictions
  • We encourage residents to monitor Queensland Health's website, as the lead health agency for the State
  • Visit the COVID-19 webpage on the Scenic Rim Regional Council website for information about the ongoing response to COVID-19.

pool party
Council provides public swimming pool facilities at Beaudesert, Tamborine Mountain and Canungra. The day-to-day operation of these pools is contracted to third-party providers. Community pools at Boonah and Rathdowney are associated with the local schools and are owned by Education Queensland. Scenic Rim Aqua Fitness Centre at Boonah is operated by community volunteers.
