Community Grants Program

Council is committed to supporting local community organisations which make a positive contribution to the quality of life in the Scenic Rim. 

The Community Grants Program provides financial support to not-for-profit community groups for projects and events which benefit the region.

Community Environment Grants Program

The Community Environment Grants Program is now open and aims to support projects that protect and enhance native vegetation and wildlife habitat across the Scenic Rim.

Eligible applicants include:

  • Community groups
  • Landcare groups
  • Non-government organisations (NGOs)
  • Not-for-profit organisations
  • Businesses with philanthropic programs
  • Pre-schools
  • Primary schools
  • Secondary schools

Funding available:

  • A total funding pool of $80,000 is available.
  • Individual groups may apply for up to $20,000 per project.

The Environment Grants round is open until 31 August 2026.
