Work Experience and Volunteering

Scenic Rim Regional Council acknowledges the important contribution made by volunteers who work with Council staff to help facilitate a range of community services and programs throughout the Scenic Rim. To find out more about becoming a volunteer, please read our Volunteer Handbook.

Scenic Rim Regional Council offers unpaid work experience opportunities, where available, for individuals seeking to develop skills and knowledge in a local government environment.

How to apply

1. Submit your completed expression of interest and supporting documentation to Learning and Development to be reviewed.

2. Suitable applications will be refereed to the relevant business area for consideration.

3. Applicants and / or education advisors will be advised of the outcome via emails.

4. If approved, placement details and supervisor information will be provided prior to commencement.
