Council operates seven waste and resource recovery facilities across the Scenic Rim region.
For residents who don't have kerbside collection or have items not suitable for kerbside collection, Council have a range of Waste and Resource Recovery Facilities across the region.

1. Offensive or abusive language and/or aggressive behaviour towards staff or other customers will not be tolerated and may result in offenders being refused entry.
2. Commercial entities and businesses must present to the Waste Officer prior to unloading.
3. Follow all signage and directions given by authorised personnel.
4. Show required identification upon entering the site.
5. Obey traffic rules including speed limits and site signage at all times.
6. Only dispose of authorised loads and materials in permitted locations as per site signs and staff instructions. Reloading fees may apply for waste disposed of in the wrong locations.
7. Strictly no standing in the back of vehicles/utes and trailers to unload waste.
8. Fully enclosed footwear must be worn on site at all times.
9. Children under the age of 12 must remain in the vehicle at all times.
10. All animals must remain in the vehicle at all times.
11. Mobile phone use, smoking, vaping or consumption of alcohol on site is prohibited.
12. Lighting of fires, unlawful entry and scavenging is strictly prohibited.
13. Materials must be transported in and out of the facility in an authorised vehicle.
14. Individuals enter the site at their own risk.
15. You consent to images, video and audio of yourself being recorded by CCTV/ body worn cameras and consent to Scenic Rim Regional Council disclosing such information to anyone (including without limitation to law enforcement agencies and for the purpose of commencing legal action) to the extent deemed necessary by Scenic Rim Regional Council to protect the Scenic Rim Regional Council interests, the public interest and the safety of persons or property at the facility.
16. Scenic Rim Regional Council may collect and disclose your personal information to employees, agents, and service providers to the extent necessary to operate the facility, including the collection of payments.
