Register now for Workplace Essentials Seminar to be held in Boonah 22 February 2018
Funded by the Queensland Government, this industry-developed one-day workshop is designed to help bring busy farm businesses up to speed with workplace health, safety and people management skills. Bookings for Queensland sessions are now open and include Boonah (to be held at The Outlook Training and Resource Centre - Thursday 22 February 2018 ). Bookings are essential.
Cost: $30 per person - includes workshop, resources, morning and afternoon tea, and lunch.
Group discount: Save 20% if booking for three or more people from the same business.

Have you had to embrace change to succeed following an unexpected challenge? Perhaps you’ve created an innovative product or service that sets you apart from your competitors. How did you start, grow or employ?
You're invited to share your story and celebrate your achievements by nominating to become one of the 100 Faces of Small Business.
Successful nominations will feature as part of a showcase during Queensland Small Business Week 2018, be part of a digital gallery on Business Queensland, have their Business profiled at a range of events, and receive a selection of high quality photos, video and website content that can be used to promote your business.

Register your 2018 Queensland Small Business Week Event
Take part in a community of over 100 small business events held across Queensland by hosting your event during Queensland Small Business Week (QSBW) 2018.
By hosting an event, you will receive marketing and promotional support from the Office of Small Business, an event listing on the online events calendar and exposure via the overarching QSBW 2018 advertising. You will also be provided with electronic files of QSBW 2018 collateral, graphic elements and supporting templates.
Chambers of Commerce
The five Chambers of Commerce in the Scenic Rim meet regularly to promote ideas, meet with business partners, and support new service providers. As peak business organisations they enjoy excellent relations with all levels of government and foster open discussions with elected representatives and Council staff. The Chambers actively lobby on various subjects on behalf of their members and, through their affiliation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland, deliver significant benefits to local members.
