24 OCTOBER - PROMOTIONAL VIDEO PUTS BROMELTON IN THE PICTURE

A promotional video showcasing the Bromelton State Development Area will be distributed to an international audience in the lead up to next month's G20 Conference. Council, through its involvement with Council of Mayors (SEQ), is participating in the three-day G20 Global CafĂ© at Brisbane Town Hall in the lead up to the meeting of global leaders.

24 OCTOBER - ALL-NEW NEWMAN BRIDGE OPEN TO TRAFFIC

The replacement of Newman Bridge at Darlington is almost complete with the new crossing now open to traffic. Delivered at a cost of almost $1.8 million the new concrete structure replaces the ageing timber crossing of the Albert River on Kerry Road.

Boonah Customer Service - Relocation Boonah Customer Service - Relocation

Residents are advised Council's Boonah Customer Service Centre and QGAP Agency will be temporarily relocated between Monday 20 October and Friday 7 November to allow refurbishments to the premises to be undertaken. During the works over-the-counter customer service and QGAP services will continue to be provided from a temporary centre at the Boonah Library.
