3 OCTOBER - FREE EMERGENCY TRAINING TO HELP SCENIC RIM GET READY

Council is offering free training to the local community which could help residents save lives in an emergency as part of RACQ Get Ready Week from 13-19 October. Council is delivering six free Accredited CPR and First Aid Workshops across the region which will equip participants with these life-saving skills in addition to 13 Parents and Bubs First Aid Workshops. 3 OCTOBER - CALL OUT FOR 2015 BE HEALTHY & ACTIVE SERVICE PROVIDERS

Expressions of interest are open for the second year of Council's Be Healthy & Active Program, with sport and recreation clubs and community organisation invited to participate in improving the health and wellbeing of Scenic Rim residents.

Boonah Customer Service - Relocation Boonah Customer Service - Relocation

Residents are advised Council's Boonah Customer Service Centre and QGAP Agency will be temporarily relocated between Monday 20 October and Friday 7 November to allow refurbishments to the premises to be undertaken. During the works over-the-counter customer service and QGAP services will continue to be provided from a temporary centre at the Boonah Library. The works are to prepare for the opening of the State Government's One-Stop-Shop trial which will expand the range of services available.
