Friday Flicks at Boonah Cultural Centre
A Scenic Rim region institution, the Friday Flicks at Boonah Cultural Centre are a great way to catch the latest and greatest movies on the big screen.
Tickets can be purchased at the door, with snacks and drinks available at the bar.
Ticket prices are:
- Adults $10
- Students and Concession $7.50
There are no trailers, all movies start at the advertised screening time.

Come and celebrate the life and music of an icon who inspired generations through his message of love and unity. On the big screen for the first time, discover Bob's powerful story of overcoming adversity and the journey behind his revolutionary music. Produced in partnership with the Marley family and starring Kingsley Ben-Adir as the legendary musician and Lashana Lynch as his wife Rita.
Movies in the Park
Bring your family, friends and blankets and immerse yourself in a night of enjoyable, family friendly entertainment with a FREE movie screening under the stars.
Movies will be shown on a large inflatable screen from 6.30pm with food and drinks for sale by local community clubs.
The FREE Movies in the Park events are usually run over 3 Saturday nights in March and November every year at:
- Beaudesert
- Boonah
- Tamborine Mountain
March Screenings - The Super Mario Bros. Movie
A big-screen adventure starring pop culture’s most prominent plumbers!

With help from Princess Peach, Mario squares off against the all-powerful Bowser to stop his plans of conquering the world!
