A world of winter wonder these school holidays

Step into a world of wonder during the winter school holidays
From science and art to magic and storytelling, the Scenic Rim Winter School Holiday 2025 program offers a wide range of free and low-cost activities for local families during July.
Scenic Rim Community, Arts and Culture Portfolio Councillor Kerri Cryer said the program caters to a range of age groups, with activities designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and family connection.
"I encourage parents and caregivers to check out their local library or cultural centre because we have a great variety of fun and engaging things to keep the kids occupied during the school holidays," Cr Cryer said.
"I highly recommend the Asia Pacific Triennial Kids on Tour event at The Centre Beaudesert which is delivered by the Queensland Art Gallery - Gallery of Modern Art.
"This features an array of hands-on activities and some fabulous projects by artists from around the Asia Pacific region.
"I am sure children and parents will also enjoy the Through the Looking Glass – A World of Wonder program, which celebrates the 160th anniversary of the much loved children's story, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland."
