Arts ablaze

To spark community interest, a series of Arts Ablaze information sessions will be held across the region in coming weeks where volunteers, presenters, performers, workshop facilitators or market stall holders can learn how they can become involved in this exciting event.

Part conference and part festival, Arts Ablaze, will be a regional celebration of arts and culture staged by Scenic Rim Regional Council from 2 to 6 October at the Ramada Resort Kooralbyn.

Community information sessions, which include supper, will be held at 6.30pm for a 7pm start on:

  • Tuesday 26 February at The Centre Beaudesert
  • Wednesday 27 February at Kooralbyn Community Centre
  • Tuesday 5 March at Vonda Youngman Community Centre, Tamborine Mountain
  • Wednesday 6 March at Boonah Cultural Centre, Boonah.

RSVP by phoning 5540 5050 or email thecentre@scenicrim.qld.gov.au by 24 February for the Kooralbyn and Beaudesert information nights or 3 March for Tamborine Mountain and Boonah sessions.

Arts Ablaze is proudly supported by the Australia Government through the Building Better Regions funding, the Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley, CQ University Australia and The Regional Arts Services Network, an initiative of the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland.
