Scenic Rim Mayor Greg Christensen proudly acknowledges the diverse cultural festival which will not only attract an expected 5,000 visitors to the region, but will also provide a platform for the local artistic community to prosper.

“The Scenic Rim is home to a multitude of creative folk and the Arts Ablaze celebration provides the platform for visionaries of all disciplines to showcase their talents, develop skills and to network with other artists,” he said.

“We’re extremely proud of the multicultural diversity in our region and bringing an event of this calibre to the Scenic Rim will not only benefit the professional development of our local artists, but will also enhance the region’s reputation as a destination for large-scale educational and artistic events,” he said.
