SCENIC RIM'S ARTS YEAR ENDS IN A BLAZE OF EXCITEMENT

A wrap-up of the biggest regional arts conference ever staged in Queensland and a celebration of the year's creative highlights mark the final events on the Scenic Rim's cultural calendar of 2019.

Kooralbyn community groups and local residents, together with organisers, volunteers and participants have been invited to the final Arts Ablaze meeting on 22 October from 6pm to 8.30pm at the Ramada Resort Kooralbyn Valley conference room.

Celebrate the success of the landmark event that was Arts Ablaze and join in a discussion in the final Arts Ablaze development meeting with light refreshments. RSVP for catering purposes by phoning 5540 5050 or  email thecentre@scenicrim.qld.gov.au

Arts Ablaze will also be on the table at the final Arts Dinner of 2019 on Tuesday 19 November at The Centre Beaudesert, from 6pm for a 6.30pm start.

Join Council as we wrap up 2019, celebrate the success of Arts Ablaze and a look forward to the highlights of 2020 and beyond.

Combined with a Christmas celebration, this will be the final Arts Dinner of the year with Arts Dinners resuming in February 2020.

Artists, suppliers, event organisers and volunteers, speakers and presenters, community members and organisations involved in cultural projects, Arts Ablaze market stall holders and workshop facilitators, arts organisations, partners and supporters are all welcome to this fitting finale of 2019.
