Scenic Rim Regional Council COVID-19 Update: Two

Following yesterday's advice about Scenic Rim Regional Council's response to COVID-19, please find following the latest information on postponement and cancellation of community events.

Please note, we are currently still going through a process of assessing Council-run events at The Centre Beaudesert, Boonah Cultural Centre and the Vonda Youngman Community Centre, our Be Healthy and Active programs as well as our Library programs and activities. We hope to have further communication on these in the coming days.

POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Council is postponing the community events below that are scheduled for the remainder of March and April. This is in addition to the Get Savvy and Planning Scheme events, which were communicated yesterday. We understand how important these events are to people across our communities and we will advise as soon as possible of the new dates.

Movies in the Park
Was scheduled to be held at:

  • Boonah - Friday 20 March, 6.30pm Coronation Park
  • Beaudesert - Saturday 21 March, 6.30pm Jubilee Park
  • Tamborine Mountain - Saturday 28 March, 6.30pm Geissmann Oval


Extreme Ninja Warrior Challenge
Was scheduled to be held at:

  • Beaudesert - Monday 6 April, 9.00am Jubilee Park
  • Tamborine Mountain - Tuesday 7 April, 9.00am Geissmann Oval
  • Boonah - Wednesday 8 April, 9.00am Coronation Park


Owl Whisperer Workshop
Was scheduled to be held at:

  • Tamborine Mountain Library - Saturday 21 March, 9.00am
  • Beaudesert Library - Saturday 28 March, 9.00am


Native Bee Workshop
Was scheduled to be held on Wednesday 8 April at Cedar Creek Lodges, Tamborine Mountain.

Anzac Day - CANCELLED - Anzac Day services across the region (and State) have been cancelled at the recommendation from RSL Queensland.
