Music lovers are set to enjoy a night of toe-tapping cabaret entertainment when former Beaudesert High School student Lizzie Flynn takes to the stage for her upcoming show 'It Takes A Lot Not To End Up Dead'.

Lizzie plays herself as the central character and takes the audience on a journey of love, self-discovery, friendship and healing.

The lead character Lizzie is heading to her small-town school reunion and the dialogue is punctuated by a conversation with her younger self (played by Ella Macrokanis).

With an array of original songs that Lizzie performs alongside Ella and her five-piece band, this is one show you won't want to miss.

The story centres around Lizzie's thoughts about what she could have done differently in her life, where did she go wrong, and if only she knew then what she knows now.

The audience will be drawn in to Lizzie's next move - Will she drive the highway of redemption or try and find a brand-new view? You will have to hop in and hitch a ride to find out what path she takes.

'It Takes A Lot Not To End Up Dead' will be shown at The Centre in Beaudesert on Saturday, October 9 at 2pm.

Tickets are still available and cost $34 for adults and $29 for concession card holders.
