Scenic Rim Business Breakfast to Focus on AI Without the Overwhelm

Local business owners and operators are invited to join Council representatives to explore the potential of AI for business and network with the Scenic Rim business community.
Scenic Rim Regional Council welcomes local business to connect, learn and be inspired at the upcoming Business Breakfast, to be held at The Centre Beaudesert, on Wednesday 29 October 2025.
The event will feature keynote speaker Tracy Sheen – Australia’s #1 Digital & AI Expert for Business – who will share practical strategies to help businesses understand and adopt artificial intelligence in their day-to-day operations, without the confusion or overwhelm.
The Business Breakfast, running from 6.30am for a 7.00am start to 8.45am, offers Scenic Rim businesses an opportunity to connect and network with their business peers and Council representatives over breakfast. Tickets are just $15 per person.
Mayor Tom Sharp said the breakfast continues to be one of Council’s flagship events to support the local business community.
“Small businesses are the backbone of the Scenic Rim economy, driving jobs, investment and innovation across our communities,” he said.
“I strongly encourage our business community to attend this event, giving our business owners and operators a chance to celebrate their contribution, while also providing practical tools and knowledge to help them thrive into the future.”
Councillor Marshall Chalk, who oversees Council’s Economic Development Portfolio, said the focus on digital innovation was vital to business success.
“Technology is moving fast, and tools like AI are becoming increasingly important for efficiency and competitiveness,” he said.
“By hearing from an expert like Tracy Sheen, our local business community will gain clear and accessible insights into how they can embrace these changes with confidence.”
Scenic Rim Regional Council encourages business owners, operators and community leaders to secure their place at the event and be part of the conversation on shaping the region’s future economy.
