Events, programs and activities

We recognise that our cultural, community and library programs are important to many of our residents, and also play an integral role in building strong connections and communities – which is a great part of life in the Scenic Rim.

Our venues are open for business and have COVID-Safe plans in place as per Queensland Government guidelines.

Library Programs

Remaining programs and school holiday activities previously advertised and scheduled at our Scenic Rim Libraries including, story times, rhyme times and story times in the park, will not be run during the month of January due to concerns over the growing number of COVID-19 cases in Queensland.

This decision affects all school holiday programs at Beaudesert, Boonah, Canungra and Tamborine Mountain Libraries. Our libraries remain open to customers, with COVID-19 restrictions in place. We look forward to re-starting our events and programs when it is safe to do so.

Be Healthy & Active sessions

As COVID-19 restrictions continue to ease in line with the Queensland Government's roadmap to easing restrictions, some Be Healthy & Active sessions have returned to being delivered face-to-face. Visit the Scenic Rim Regional Council Facebook events section to find out what Be Healthy & Active sessions are now available.
